The UTC Group publicly communicates the commitment it has made with the public authorities, and through them, with society.
This commitment is comprised of the leniency agreement closed and duly signed by us with the Ministry of Transparency, Inspection and Control - Office of the Comptroller General (CGU) and with the Attorney General Office (AGU). In addition to this agreement, the UTC Group also signed two other agreements with the Administrative Council for Economic Defense.
According to the rules defined by the authorities, the UTC Group acknowledges the mistakes it has made in the past, bears the payment of a fine and undertakes to compensate and repair the damages caused to the Public Administration. But that is not all. In addition to collaborating effectively in clarifying any episodes in its past, the UTC Group undertakes the responsibility to change.
To change means to improve our corporate governance, something we have already started since the beginning of negotiations, more than two years ago. To change means to implement an Integrity Program, which is fully functioning. To change means to adopt a zero tolerance policy towards corruption and fraud, which integrates all of our processes.
The new moment for UTC Group being announced now involves all our employees, partners, suppliers and customers. Above all, it involves our relationship with the Government spheres, with which we now coexist on a high level of integrity and ethics.
This commitment requires vigilance, continuous improvement and transparency of information. We will maintain our technical tradition and the high engineering standards that make us proud, but we will dedicate our attention to the highest levels of integrity and to intolerance towards corruption and fraud. This is the UTC Group turning a page in its history.

Transparency regarding donations, contributions and sponsorships
The Group reaffirms its commitment to transparency in relation to donations, contributions and sponsorships, informing on its website all donations, contributions and sponsorships made during the year. In line with this transparency, it informs that no donations, contributions or sponsorships were made by Group companies in 2020.
This publication is also part of the institutional commitment to the Compliance Program and zero tolerance for corruption and fraud.
